Book 1, Chapter 8 Summary
Jenna was the top girl at the club, and, for the first time, Jack seemed proud of her. When she mentioned to him to stick up for her a little, he started treating her worse then before, and he started pressuring her to do drugs with him. Eventually she gave in and began to snort crystal methamphetamine. She enjoyed the feeling the drug gave her, because it allowed her to forget her pain, at least for a while. Shortly after she started using crystal methamphetamine, she discovered that it did not help her at work. She then vowed to never do it again. Although she never used it before work again, she did use again.
At this same time, Vanessa stopped talking to Jenna. When Jenna confronted her for the reason, Vanessa accused Jenna of sleeping with Preacher. When Jenna denied...
