Once Halley's mother is gone, she is free to do almost anything. Her father is busy with work, and pays little attention to her, and she spends most of her time with Macon. Scarlett spends more time with Cameron, and picks up extra shifts at Milton's to help cover the cost of baby items. She also joins a Teen Mothers Support Group, meeting two days a week.
