Summary

Yunior and his date arrive back at Yunior’s apartment. As they watch television together, Yunior shifts to a more serious and alert mental state as he attempts to anticipate potential sexual signals from the date. He resolves to allow the date to initiate any sexual activities. They sip rum that Yunior’s father left in one of the kitchen cabinets. Yunior notes that if the date is from the same neighborhood, she will be more hesitant to allow him to touch her, as she may not want to be bothered by him later.
