Summary

In Chapter Thirty-four, Francoeur is concerned when he learns someone has accessed a file about an autoroute construction because he knows what that file contains. Meanwhile, Gamache asks to see the secure construction files that Jerome and Nichol have stumbled upon. About the same time, Charpentier calls Francoeur to tell him the alert was nothing.
