Summary

In Chapter Seven, Gamache and Henri pay a visit to Therese and Jerome Brunel. Jerome tells Gamache he has hit some walls in finding the identity of the person who leaked the video of the factory raid. They believe it is someone in the top police office, but haven’t been able to determine this for certain. Jerome, however, believes he is being tracked by a watcher. When Gamache leaves the building, he and Henri head for Three Pines.

In Chapter Eight, Myrna and Clara are washing dishes when Gamache pulls up in front of Myrna’s store. They think for a second it is Constance, but it is Gamache who answers their calls. When Gamache questions Myrna further about her relationship with Constance, he learns Constance had been one of her clients. Myrna tells him Constance had come to visit Three Pines after...
