Stephanie tells Ranger about her night watching Hannibal and asks if she should continue. Ranger tells her to do so, but only if she can do it without getting shot at. Ranger kisses her and leaves. The next morning over oatmeal with Grandma, Brian Simon turns up with his dog Bob for Stephanie to watch while he is out of town. The dog is large and appears to be part Golden Retriever.
