Part 2, Chapter 9, The Long-haired Monarchs Summary

The authors research into the Merovingian dynasty finds it shrouded in more mystery than the Knights Templar and the Cathars. The Merovingians originated from the Sicambrians, a tribe of Germanic people known as the Franks. The Merovingians ruled large parts of what is now France and Germany during between the fifth and seventh centuries, during the time of King Arthur and the Grail romances.
