Summary

In “Four Days Later,” Jack’s parents tell him and his brothers that they will be separating for a while.

In Libby’s section, Libby agrees to go to Kam’s party for a few minutes only because Bailey says that Jack will not be there.

In Jack’s section, Jack is at Kam’s party with Caroline. She wants to make out, but he wants to see if they can have a real conversation. As he tries to get Caroline to talk, he realizes that Caroline does not “see” (343) him any more than he sees her. Jack is shocked when Caroline tells him that she is ready to have sex with him. When he suggests that is not how he expected their first time to be, she gets angry and hurt.
