Summary

In Chapter 64, Dirk stayed in Meersburg with the Pfeiffer family for eight years. Then, Gerwig Pfeiffer’s second wife, Franz, and Moritz said goodbye to Dirk when he decided to leave. Dirk tried to give his nutcracker to Moritz, but the young man did not want it. Dirk traveled to different countries, hoping to go to Persia.
