Pages 151-198 Summary

When Taraza and her party depart, Teg isolates Schwangyu from the ghola as ordered, while wondering about the troubling things he has heard. Teg diverts Taraza to melange, and Taraza, for the first time, shares stories from Other Memories about 50-100 year lifetimes before spice. Without it, there would be no Bene Gesserit, Guild, Muad'dib or Tyrant. Taraza observes that Mentats are rarely philosophers like Teg and believes that his ability to doubt is a major strength.

Teg comes out of these memories feeling everything is familiar again, although only minutes have passed. This creates a magical universe of amplified abilities.
