Here Be Dragons is the first in a trilogy of historical novels about thirteenth century England and Wales by Sharon Kay Penman. This novel follows the unique love story of Llewelyn ab Iowerth, Prince of Gwynedd, and Joanna, the illegitimate daughter of the King John of England.
