Structure

"Her” is separated into three main sections. Part One describes the close and unique relationship of author Christa Parravani and her identical twin sister, Cara. The section begins with Christa declaring that she used to be an identical twin. Cara died of a drug overdose when the twins were 28. The first part describes their somewhat difficult childhood.
