Act 4, Scene 3 Summary
Back at the English camp, the English Dukes are discussing how they are outnumbered five to one. Westmorland wishes he had 10,000 more troops. The king is disappointed in his request. He tells him that if they were meant to win, they will win with the number of soldiers they currently have. Henry thinks that if they do win they will be the better for not having as many troops because there will be less people to share the glory with. Not only that but if they also defeat the French with so few numbers, Henry is convinced they will become legends.
Montjoy comes to ask for the king's surrender and ransom one more time before the "slaughter" begins. The king says he will never surrender and that the English will fight or die. Montjoy leaves to return Henry's message to the Constable. The Duke of York leads the English...
