The scene now changes to the French palace and to Katherine and her maid. The scene is conducted in French. Katherine asks her maid who has visited England to teach her English. The maid tells her the English words for hand, finger, nails, arm, elbow, neck etc. Once they name these few body parts, Katherine says she has had enough.....
