Summary

Pregnancy does not stabilize Terese and Casey's relationship. She writes that her baby is "a Thunder Being inside of me" (71). For the baby's sake, she has to go off her medication, but she and Casey want the child, and they prepare for things to get difficult. Terese and Isaiah move in with Casey. After only four weeks, Terese begins to experience symptoms from going off her medication.
