Summary

One day, Edith realized that Sabitha had developed breasts. Edith had been spending more time with her aunt, uncle, and cousins, who live near Lake Simcoe. She mentioned that one of her cousins had had sex. A boy had forcibly coerced the cousin into the act. Edith was far less open about her sexuality, as her mother had once discovered her masturbating and had harshly scolded her.
