Chapter 30 "Grawp" Summary

The Weasley twins' departure from Hogwarts quickly approaches legendary status and many of the other students begin to talk of leaving in a similar fashion. In fact, there is a veritable explosion of mischief from the other students in response to the trouble-vacuum created by Fred and George's absence. Again, the other teachers at Hogwarts seem uninterested in helping Umbridge restore order. Ron and Hermione speculate about where the twins came up with the money to open their joke shop and Harry finally confesses that he has financed them with his tournament winnings. Ron is actually ecstatic when he hears the news, since he figures his parents will have no choice but to blame Harry instead of Ron for the twins dropping out of school. Hermione continues to pressure Harry about resuming.....
