Chapter 29 "Career Advice" Summary
Hermione is appalled to hear that Snape is no longer giving Harry Occlumency lessons and urges Harry to pursue further studies. Harry continues to dwell on the memory of his father's conduct in Snape's memory and he decides that he must speak with Sirius for his perspective on the incident. Fred and George stop by with an offer to create a diversion so that Harry can speak with Sirius through the fireplace in Umbridge's office. Hermione spends the day of Harry's plan trying to talk him out of it, but Harry is unable to get the visions of his father out of his head and decides to proceed in spite of the potential consequences.
Meanwhile, with exams a mere six weeks away, the time has come for the children to meet with their house heads for a career counseling session. Harry heads to McGonagall's office for his session and finds...
