Chapter Twelve, Magic is Might Summary

As time moves on, more Death Eaters watch outside Grimmauld Place to try and catch a glimpse of Harry, but they see little of interest. One day, Harry comes into Grimmauld Place with a copy of the paper. It announces that Snape has been named Headmaster at Hogwarts. The mention of Hogwarts reminds Hermione of Phineas Nigellus. His portrait hangs in the headmaster's room as well as in Grimmauld Place. Phineas can go from portrait to portrait, so Hermione puts the portrait from Grimmauld Place into her handbag so that he can not see them and report this to Snape.

Everyday, Harry, Ron, and Hermione take turns looking for the lady who looks like a toad, but they have yet to see her. Most Ministry people use the Floo Network to get inside the Ministry...
