While on their way to Atlanta in Chapter 26, they come upon a stalled bus for a dance troupe and one of the dancers. The dancer tells the men that a Klu Klux Klan group has captured the rest of the troupe and could be in the process of murdering the Black members, if not all of them. Gates and Raleigh slash all the tires of the Klan members' vehicles.
