Summary

Penelope and Jon were walking to Jon’s friend Darnell’s art show. Penelope had to stop along the way to throw up, sick after not following Mirella’s advice to not drink the tap water in the Dominican Republic. Jon had picked her up from the airport and had helped her move and paint Halsey street. Penelope did not want to go to the art show but Jon insisted. She entered, mad at him and ordered a drink. At the show, she felt envious of Darnell’s achievement. Penelope told Jon she hated the people in the gallery and Jon told her he did not think it was them that she hated.
