Summary

Chapter 13

Cat was worried about her mother. It would break her heart if she got involved with a vampire. When she arrived home, her grandparents were on the porch. Her grandfather was angry. He called her mother out on the porch claiming that Cat had been sleeping with the Devil. Her grandparents were both ashamed of her. Cat ran inside and looked at her neck and chest. There were hickeys all over her. She privately told her mother that the guy was someone who also hunted vampires and that their relationship wasn’t serious. Her mother was worried that she’d get pregnant like she did. Cat decided it was time she got her own apartment.
