Chapter 11

Stephanie who is in Cat’s physics class, waited for her after class. Stephanie had missed a few days and asked to borrow Cat’s notes. Stephanie invited Cat to go out to a club that night. Cat came by Stephanie’s apartment that evening to pick her up. Stephanie told Cat she dressed like a troll and gave her a dress to borrow. Cat decided she would wear what she had on – her jeans. Stephanie began insulting her and suddenly pulled a gun on her. She just needed to make her rent and the landlord would like Cat. Stephanie threw a pair of handcuffs at Cat and ordered her to put them on.

Cat lunged at Stephanie who fired at Cat but missed her. Stephanie was surprised at Cat’s speed. They struggled for the gun. It went off and shot...
