Chapter 7

Bones attended to Cat’s wrist wound. He sliced his palm with a knife and pressed it on Cat’s bite to heal it. Sergio damaged the car when he burst out of it. They loaded his dead body into the back of the car. Bones asked Cat to confirm that Sergio was really dead. He always cuts their heads off to be sure. They decided the Mercedes was not drivable. Bones made a call on his cell phone and asked whomever he called to pick them up. He told Cat she did a great job. But, Cat was upset. She wished she would have just been a normal girl with two normal parents. She longed to be a normal girl with the only thing she had to kill was time.
