Summary

Chapter 5

Cat made excuses to her mother during her training. First, she said she was working as a waitress; but, when she had no money to show for it, she told her she had joined an extensive exercise program. Cat was surprised to see Bones literally fly from the floor of the cave to a high crevice. The next phase of their training would be to turn Cat into a seductress. Bones took Cat to a salon where she spent five hours getting the works. While she was there, Bones went shopping and got her a whole new wardrobe – a very sexy and alluring one. Cat didn’t like her new look, but Bones assured her that it would attract vampires. The boots he bought her had a slot in them where she could store her stakes.
