Chapter 3

Cat dressed quickly. The only thing missing were the gloves she always wore. They faced off in the cavern. He let her have first whack at him. He moved so fast that she missed him. The fight began and they both landed blows. She got the better of him and plunged the stake in his chest but it was too high and missed his heart. He was able to stop the blood flow. Through his prowess and quick movements, he finally defeated her and she passed out.

Later, she was shocked when she woke in his bed in a small limestone apartment. She was covered by a soft blanket. He had healed her wounds with a few drops of his blood. She was shocked. Vampire blood heals?! She wanted to leave but didn’t see a way out. When they prepared to...
