Summary

This section begins with another image taking up the entire page without words. Raina and her Mom walk down a street together on page 70, and on page 71 they meet with Lauren, Raina’s therapist. Her Mom leaves the room, and while Lauren smiles, looking friendly, Raina is panicking, with white lines outlining her in fear, and she bites her nails. Lauren asks her why she is there and Raina is stumped. The images depict her drowning as green thoughts and fears in large words radiate out of her and at the bottom of 75 she is tiny on a couch in a sea of green saying “. . . I dunno” (75). Page 76 is two panels broken up between Raina’s head and body - the top part saying, “Thoughts can exist” with thought bubbles around her head and the bottom part saying, “Feelings can exist” with images...
