Part 3, Chapter 7 Summary

Gulliver hires a guide to help him to the island of Luggnagg where he can sail to Japan. Gulliver arrives at the port city and finds that there is no ship bound for the island. Here he is directed to go to Glubbdubdribb until he can find passage to the island. This island has magicians and sorcerers on it and the main power on the island is that of a family of magicians who use the dead as servants. Gulliver visits the governor and has dinner with him but does not stay at his place. Instead, he lodges at the capital city. The governor tells him that he can call up anyone Gulliver wishes and Gulliver can ask the questions pertaining to the time in which they were alive.
