Part 2, Chapter 1 Summary

This part picks up with Gulliver departing England. Gulliver is on a ship with Captain John Nicholas. This ship is hit by a storm that blows them five hundred leagues off where they need to be into unknown land. Everyone is well, but they are running out of water. The sailors come to an island and get off the boat to find water. Gulliver goes one direction by himself and when he finds nothing starts back towards the ship. Gulliver sees the men rowing back to the boat with a giant following them and he then runs the other way and discovers that this land is inhabited. It is just that everything is so big, he did not realize it. Then he runs into a cornfield, gets lost, and he sees.....
