Summary

Chapter 5 is titled “A Buncha Stuff that Happened Next.” Dog Man, still disguised as the cat, goes to the police station. There is a “Help wanted” sign on the door with a note that dogs are not allowed. The cops have cried so much that they are standing in water up to their necks, and they are still crying. The Chief sends a cop named Buster to open the door. The water almost washes Dog Man off the steps. The Chief is holding a picture of Dog Man.
