Chapter 58 Summary

Pip visits Satis and sees it has been divided into lots for an auction. He goes to the Blue Boar and finds Pumblechook there. Pumblechook has the nerve to characterize himself as his benefactor. Then Pip goes to visit Biddy at her school, but she is not there. He then goes to the forge and finds that Biddy is married to Joe. He quietly congratulates them, tells Joe he will be going abroad and will pay him back. He leaves England and becomes clerk at Clarriker and Company.
