Chapter 32 Summary

Estella writes him she is coming to London. He visits Newgate with Wemmick. There, they meet a colonel who is about to be executed. Wemmick will get his pigeons, "portable property." Pip does not like his prison experience. After waiting for some time, he finally sees Estella in the coach window.

Chapter 32 Analysis

Estella now firmly plants herself in Pip's way. Pip's experience of Newgate is just another disillusioning glimpse at the world of prisoner and English justice of the time.
