Summary

In the section “Shann, The Horny Polish Kid, and Satan,” Johnny visited Austin, bringing him cigarettes. He took Austin and Shann to get pizza. Austin felt guilty talking to Shann at first because he was thinking about all the things he did with Robby. He felt as if his heart was being split in half. When Shann did ask Austin about Eric, he told her that he knew his brother would be a different person when he saw him again. He could not eat any more after that. He was crying. Shann suggested to him they could try having sex with a condom sometime when the time was right. She changed the subject by pulling the black and white picture of her house out of her purse.
