Katsa's Coming of Age

In the beginning of the story, Katsa is eighteenyears old and running a secret network known as the Council. Katsa is an exceptional young woman with the Graced power to fight and kill anyone. Yet in her public life, Katsa is still the violent tool of the vengeful King Randa of the Middluns. Katsa's main social relationships are with her fellow conspirators on the Council, Oll, Giddon and Prince Raffin. Yet, she has little insight into her colleagues other than they want to help her end injustices in the Middluns and among the seven kingdoms. When on a mission to rescue the old Tealiff, Katsa meets the Graced fighter later identified as Prince Po.
