Amy Elliott Dunne: Five Days After the Return Summary

Amy recognizes that Nick is not the same man that he was before. She says she needs to be careful around him. She mentions that putting the precautions in place will take some planning on her part. Amy decides that she has tied up all of her lose ends, except Nick. She is convinced, however, that she can win Nick over to back up her story.

Rand and Marybeth's publisher wants them to write another Amazing Amy book. They settle on a fat sum and the Elliott's leave Carthage. Amy thinks she has her own story to tell, but in the meantime, she needs to get Nick on the same page so they can write a happy ending to the story.
