Nick is choking Amy and cursing at her while he does. She's trying to fight him but Nick is stronger than Amy is. Nick releases her when he realizes what he will be if he kills Amy.

Nick realizes that Amy made him the man he is today. He also realizes that he is the one that has to take charge of putting Amy where she belongs. Nick concludes that Amy belongs in a box, but it's not a coffin. He believes she deserves to suffer in prison.
