Amy Elliott Dunne: Five Days Gone Summary

Amy is hiding away in her cabin. Her disposable cell phone rings, which is the alarm company. This clues Amy to the fact that Nick has made it to his father's house in the treasure hunt. She changed the code and put her disposable cell phone number as the first contact a few weeks prior. Amy is watching the talk show, where the host is tearing Nick apart and flashing all of the photos that make him look guilty.

Amy explains that she's been stockpiling money over the past year. She used cash advances on the credit cards she took out in Nick's name, made small ATM withdrawals, stole from Nick's pockets and stole from the tip jar at The Bar. She says she has enough to live on until she kills herself...
