Amy Elliott Dunne: July 21, 2011 Summary

Amy writes about going to the plasma donation center with Maureen Dunne and some of her friends. Maureen asks Amy to be her proxy because Maureen cannot donate plasma anymore. The problem is that Amy has a serious phobia of needles and blood. When they get to the clinic, she tells the nurse this and says she can't do it. When Amy gets up to use the bathroom, she faints. Maureen and her friends take Amy home and Maureen puts Amy to bed.

When Nick arrives home, it's after 11 pm. When he slides into bed, Amy knows he's about to lie so she doesn't even listen to what he says.
