In Chapter 22, Cameron wakes up on the bus and finds Dulcie sitting in the seat in front of him. For a few minutes he is worried people will think he is crazy, but he gets over that when he realizes everyone is asleep. Cameron is developing a crush on Dulcie and asks her a few personal questions about her life when she was alive. It is clear that Dulcie will not answer his questions.
