The Link

The Link is a computer program that plays in the brains of members of the Community through the chip implanted in their necks. It provides news and information and keeps people from experiencing emotions or feelings, and it provides constant feedback to those who control the Community and its residents.

V-chip

Each resident of the Community has a V-chip implanted in his or her neck. The chips connect them to the Link and cause them to behave like drones.

Input Port

Each resident of the Community has an input port in the back of his or her neck through which V-chips and other devices are inserted.

The Community Creed
