Summary

In Chapter 21, Zoe is thrilled that the time has come to escape but manages to hide her emotions. On the subway platform, Max comes to her in the form of a woman and tells her that Adrien is a Monitor who has been working for the Chancellor, and he proves it by showing her a digital image in which Adrien tells the Chancellor about Juan and Zoe. Zoe has trouble believing this but Max convinces her to escape with him and he takes the form of the Chancellor. When the train doors open, Adrien is there with the real Chancellor but in the ensuing confusion, Zoe is able to use her power to hold off the Regulators. She focuses on Adrien and, learning that he has a small hard drive inserted in the back of his neck port, realizes he has been under...
