They tell Victor that there is a high probability that the photo of him and Allison will be published. They give him the phone number of a man named Buddy at the News. Victor asks if they know Baxter Priestly and they tell him what they know. They go over the guest list for the opening which is a list of the rich and famous.

In chapter twenty-two, Victor meets his father for lunch. In the car he calls Buddy at the News. He wants to make a deal for the photo. They exchange gossip.

In chapter twenty-one, Victor arrives at Nobu and takes Xanax before meeting his father. He notices who is at the various tables when he walks in. His father wants to know about his work. He wants Victor to return to...
