Battle Creek

Battle Creek is a small town where nothing ever seems to happen. That is until Craig's body is found in the woods with a suicide note and a church is vandalized by a group of teenage Satanists on Halloween. After that, the town is consumed by Satanic Panic. Assemblies are held at school, pamphlets are given out at the library, churches give sermons. For Lacey, Dex, and Nikki, Battle Creek is a place they want to escape from. Although its exact location is never mentioned, Battle Creek is located about an hour from the New Jersey coast.
