Chapters 5-6 Summary

In Chapter 5, Skye considers college again, and tries to make up her mind about what she wants. When she goes down for breakfast the next morning, her mother is distraught, and tells her that an old hippie friend of the family, Robert, has been arrested for child molestation. Anna is convinced that Robert must have molested Skye, as well, when she was young, because the whole group was on drugs so much that she's not sure she would have noticed. This thought stays with Skye as she goes over to Riley's house. They fool around, both thinking about girls. When they are finished, Skye tells Riley about Robert, but he tells her that she would definitely remember something like that if it had actually happened.
