The Title, Girl in Snow

The title of the narrative symbolizes the theme that it is hard to know who people really are as appearances do not always match the reality of the situation, and people make judgments based on what they see, not who people really are. This is true of Lucinda, the given name of the girl who is found dead in the snow. While people and the readers know her name, they do not know her real personalities. Cameron sees her one way. Jade sees her in another way. Her best friends see her differently from both Cameron and Jade. The only reality that everyone can agree upon is that she is a girl who was found in the snow.
