Summary

Charlie’s memories are patchy as Linus and Tanner drive her to Santa Fe. She is aware of new bandages on her stomach and arms. When Charlie begins to regain consciousness, Linus tells Charlie that Wendy trashed Charlie’s apartment. She beat Blue up when Blue tried to stop her. Riley and Wendy stole a car and took money from Grit. Riley flipped the car. Wendy was hurt, but Riley was okay.

On the third day after they arrive at Tanner and Linus’ grandfather’s house, Charlie wakes and is able to hobble to the bathroom. In the main room of the house, the grandfather (Felix) offers her food and coffee. He takes Charlie’s hand and welcomes her to his home.
