Summary

Baby Wendy was born on October 19th, the day after Ginny was kidnapped. Now that it is Saturday, October 23rd, Ginny is back at the Blue House. She is concerned that Baby Wendy is starving because “real milk” comes from the fridge, not breasts (114). Ginny goes inside of her brain and becomes anxious over Baby Doll’s well-being. She imagines feeding Baby Doll by dipping the end of a towel into a glass of milk, but then her Forever Dad interrupts her daydream to apologize for how “intense” things have been (116). He asks Ginny to stop “hovering,” and he tries to reassure her that everyone is safe- Crystal is in jail and Baby Wendy has plenty to eat. To Ginny, however, she is Crystal with a C, so she corrects him and goes to her room.
