Being a woman allows the author to share her unique perspective on a woman's role in the daily life of an American woman. A woman is a complex creature of which much is expected, both in her personal and professional lives. It is true today's woman has more opportunity to explore outside interests than ever before and so she may chose one of a number of paths to find fulfillment.
