Cat (Catrina)

Cat (Catrina) is a teenager who moves with her family to Bahía de la Luna, a seaside town where the family hopes that her sister Maya will be able to have a better quality of life. Cat is conscientious of Maya's disease. At times, she feels dejected because her sister gets most of the attention.

Cat is reluctant to leave her friends and school. While she understands that the move will help her sister, she does not like it. After meeting, Carlos, Cat rejects the possibility of ghosts. She comes around after Carlos takes her and Maya to the mission.

Cat wants her Maya to be well, but she understands and accepts the seriousness of the disease. Cat is not ready for her sister to die, but is comforted by knowing about the spirit world.
