Chapter 31, Tyrion, Chapter 32, Arya, and Chapter 33, Eddard Summary

On the trip to the Vale of Arryn as Catelyn's prisoner, Tyrion attempts to convince Catelyn he is not guilty of the assassination attempt on Bran. Tyrion claims Littlefinger is lying to Catelyn. Before Tyrion can tell Catelyn why Littlefinger's story is untrue, the group is attacked. Catelyn allows Tyrion and his men to be armed in order to help fight the attackers. During the fight, Tyrion saves Catelyn's life. Afterward, Tyrion claims Littlefinger's story about the dagger is clearly not true because Tyrion never bets against his brother even though Littlefinger claims Tyrion bet on his brother's opponent.
